TERMS OF SERVICE
PAYMENT
Sleepy Stag Suits accept payment through SQUARE INVOICE or ZELLE only.

Once a project is accepted, payment is required to secure a spot on the queue.
Projects paid in full get first priority, but as of March 2026 payment plans may be worked out on a case-by-case basis. These are typically reserved for higher cost projects/projects over 5k.
No work will be done on a project until it is paid in full!
ONCE WORK IS COMPLETE THERE ARE NO REFUNDS!!!
QUEUE
I update my Trello queue in real time as I complete work. I use trello due dates for my OWN REFERENCE and they almost always change as work is completed (please note this! It's hard for me to determine how long some projects- especially complex and experimental ones- will take me so flexible ever-changing due dates are important to my process)
Queue order is determined by a few factors: who has paid first, who I have materials for first, and who I have measurements or a DTD for first. Queue order typically stays the same- but sometimes projects shift around to better fit my work flow!
Projects are tagged to describe their status (not started, started, complete, shipped etc.)
My fursuit queue is split up into main queue/large projects, small parts, and refurb work columns.

REFUNDS
Contact me immediately if you need to cancel a project and we will sort it out. If materials have already been purchased, 30% of your project will not be refundable.
If the project has already been completed or is mostly complete, I will NOT refund you at all. However I'm happy to boost sales posts or help clients resell their suits.
Please don't commission me unless you know for sure that you wont need a refund. It's terribly stressful for both of us. I am one person with two hands and I am doing my best!
CLIENT SECURITY & WORK IN PROGRESS
Clients can reach out privately to ask for WIPs (images, videos) at any point while I am working on their project. I encourage clients to ask specific questions regarding suit construction and craftsmanship and I value transparency.
WIPs will also be posted to my bluesky and telegram channel regularly
I can be contacted via Bluesky or Telegram @thesleepystag. I am available Monday-Friday, and usually get back to clients within two days (always feel free to poke me).
WARRANTY
There is a one-year warranty (from the time of shipping) on all suits and parts that I make.
If you have any popped seams, fitting issues, holes, adhesive failures, or any other issues, you can send the piece back and I will fix it for free.
However, the client is responsible for all shipping costs.

If you'd prefer to fix the piece yourself and not have to ship it, I am also happy to give detailed instructions!
BLACKLIST/HARASSMENT POLICY
Please note that I can refuse service to clients for any reason if I feel unsafe or uncomfortable working with them.
I want to avoid this as much as possible of course, I always try to see the best in people, but any harassment or abusive behavior towards me or those close to me will not be taken lightly.
In the case of this happening, the client will be refunded and removed from the queue if no work has been started. If work is in progress, it will be completed and shipped off ASAP. Either way- the client will be blacklisted across all platforms and will not be eligible for my warranty or welcome to my fursuit events/group chats.
Let's try to avoid this!!
FAQ
CAN I COMMISSION IF I'M UNDER 18?
No. Sleepy Stag Suits does not work with minors. You will need to be 18 or older to commission a suit or parts.
Parents/guardians are welcome to commission for those under 18- but all communication and payments must be done through you as I WILL NOT do business with minors. My group chats and client spaces are 18+ as well so please consider this!
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Sleepy Stag Suits ONLY accepts payment via Square or Zelle.
You do not need a Square account to view or pay a Square invoice, just an email address! Zelle works through your bank, but not all banks have the option to use Zelle.

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE TURNAROUND TIME FOR A SUIT?
Once you have been accepted, you will be added to my queue.
Turnaround time will vary depending upon my workload and the specific project- refurbs for example typically are completed faster than entire new fullsuits. Wait time for most work is currently 6-18 months.
The client may ask for an update and/or progress pictures any time.
WILL YOU WORK WITH A STRICT DUE DATE?
No. I can do my best to have work done by a specific time, but I do not offer strict due dates for projects, not even for an extra charge. I will not rush work because I make BAD work when I rush and you don't deserve bad work as my client. Plus it makes me feel bad to make bad work! NO BAD WORK !!

IS SHIPPING INCLUDED IN PRICING? WILL YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Shipping is not included in the price and will be an extra charge. I am happy to ship internationally, but do be aware that it can get to be very pricey.

Shipping in the US usually ranges from $30-$200 based on what is being shipped. I use PirateShip to create my labels!
I do not ship without insurance so be aware of that extra cost!! I typically either use UPS or USPS- if you have preference please let me know!
CAN I COMMISSION A BODYSUIT WITHOUT SENDING A DUCT TAPE DUMMY?
No, for bodysuit projects I currently only work with DTDs. Please see my DTD guide here for instructions. Helps me get the best fit!
DO YOU OFFER AIRBRUSHING? WILL YOU WORK WITH MATERIALS IN PLACE OF FAUX FUR?
I currently do not offer airbrushing on suits. I can do dry brushing on small parts of suits but it's surely not the same.
I am happy to work with materials in place of faux fur upon request! I have experience with using fleece and minky. I even offer fleece 'pooltoy' style suits for a slightly reduced cost!
WILL YOU WORK WITH MATERIALS/FURS/FABRICS PROVIDED BY THE CLIENT?
I WILL work with headbases provided by the client. I do not give discounts for providing your own base, however. Bases MUST be preapproved by me, and must be foam unless otherwise discussed.
I will generally not work with furs provided by the client: I prefer to source and order my own materials so I know exactly what I'm getting.
If your furs are hard to match or rare or special in some way we can talk! But please know that I do not give discounts for providing materials.
WILL YOU GIVE ME A DISCOUNT?
Definitely not if you ask!
I will occasionally offer discounted slots for me to experiment with new materials or techniques but in general, no I will not give you a discount. Don't try to talk me down or figure out a way to get lower prices, it's hurtful and I will not work with you. I support my family with that fursuit!!
CAN I USE THE SUIT I COMMISSIONED FROM YOU FOR NSFW PURPOSES OR PHOTOS?
Absolutely and I encourage it. If you're an adult 18+ commissioning a fursuit, it's up to you what you'd like to do with it. Have fun and be safe!
WHAT WON'T YOU WORK WITH?
I WILL NOT WORK WITH
- Moving jaws
- Resin/silicone parts
- Bases that are not foam
- 3D "FOLLOW ME' eyes
- Heavy/weight-bearing magnetic features (no magnetic tails, wings, feetpaw bottoms, etc)
- Large wings
- I WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT work in other makers' styles, do not ask me, please don't commission if you don't like my work, if you treat me as a cheaper knockoff of another maker I will be hurt and will literally never forget it!
DO YOU USE PREMADE PATTERNS, OR MAKE YOUR OWN?
Both!
If you'd like a certain premade pattern used, or would like custom patterns only just let me know! I love the Kloofsuits hand paw pattern, Matrices slim handpaw pattern, as well as the Splitgrapesoda slim feetpaw pattern, and use these all pretty often- but most other patterns are totally custom. If you have preference PLEASE communicate this! I want you to love your suit! It matters.
